The Senegalese government has agreed to pay the debt owed by Iraq to Senegal, according to the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides in Amman.
. He said Finance Minister Bayan Jabr told a news briefing on Tuesday that the memo included a rescheduling of amounts due to Iraq and the amount of Senegal (4164) million dollars will pay the first installment of the loans in the first of next March.
. Zubeidi said that this achievement comes in the pursuit of the Ministry of Finance to return Iraqi funds abroad, whether in debt or those smuggled Alambad system.
He explained that the competent departments of the State of Senegal called on to send the claim to pay the loans before fifteen days from the date of maturity.
He pointed out that the staff continued to closely follow the financial Iraqi funds and make utmost efforts to end the file of Iraqi debt.
