Good point. However, it appears that Empire has hired many support people including, I believe, one person who is responsible for Communications. I hope that doesn't mean communications among board members. Just once I would like to see a company keep their shareholders informed. I think it would be good for the company. I know of many investors who have jumped ship just because they could never find out where the ship was headed. I realize that once you become a share holder, when you buy or sell shares, you are only dealing with other shareholders and not directly with the company. However, it is this buying and selling which determines the value of all of the shares, including those held by company officers. Can anyone think of a good reason for any well run company not to keep their shareholders up to date on exactly what is happening?
