This weekend my county had an opening of our newly built jail. We took a tour of the facility. They had not yet started to receive inmates. While we were touring I asked the guide if she had heard about the Credit card machines they had installed in Midland and she seemed familiar. I asked if this jail was going to be set up in that manner. She said that she thought they were going to be but nothing has been put out yet. She said that when an inmate left that they could go to anybank and open up an account with their card and place there money in any bank. So I will watch this development in my county. This comming Thursday when we have our Elected Officials meeting I will inquire from our County Judge about this. But if true this company seems to be making a lot of inroads.I hope they are the only ones in this business right now. So I hope we continue to float under the raydar. People need patients. Otherwise need to find another way of making money.
