ISLE BET FOR EYE CBS makes sure it's a strike 'Survivor' By JOSEF ADALIAN, MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
CBS has just purchased some pretty powerful strike insurance, pacting with "Survivor" exec producer Mark Burnett on a mega-deal that guarantees at least two more Burnett-produced editions of the reality phenom -- and the promise of even more installments later.
In addition, the Eye has decided to play its "Survivor" card for all it's worth: Net is moving its biggest hit of the fall, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" to the 9 p.m. Thursday slot following "Survivor," a scheduling play that emerged as a serious possibility last week (Daily Variety, Jan. 2). Move pits the young CBS Prods./Alliance Atlantis skein opposite mighty competish on NBC ("Will & Grace") and ABC ("Who Wants to Be a Millionaire").
