yes, i see it now as it as clear daylight in july. man was that stuff dirty on all fronts. i remember buying my first home and the furnace was feed by a coal stoker. i had it one winter and in went the natural gas furnace. yes , coal did cook for many and heat a lot of buildings,etc as the power plants are fuel with some today. coal will always be a major for power plants etc.
