Are you trying to imply that I'm short this stock? I thought you were smarter than that. I guess not.
Try shorting not just this stock but any penny stock and see how far you get. Can't be done, retail brokers won't allow it. As for me holding a naked short position...don't I wish.
If I were in a position that allowed me to naked short this I would be rolling in the dough, wouldn't I? I would never have to cover either because no matter how high the price got who would force me to cover? I have asked that question many times but no one has ever given me a valid answer.
Why? Because there isn't one. There is no system in place to force a non market maker to cover a naked short. That doesn't mean that no one but market makers can short naked. It just means that market makers are the only ones that the current system, as it is used at this time, will identify as being shorted naked.
Sucks doesn't it. Sucks because if the system were used as it is capable of being used, absolutely no one would be able to short one single share without being identified and forced to deliver after T+3. But it won't be used that way until someone forces it to be.
Maybe the new presidential administration will bring about the required changes. That would be nice but don't count on it.
