When I have more time I gotta tell ya all about my experience over the last 24 hrs in trying to get a simple 15K secured used car loan....u would think w/a credit score in the mid 700's it wouldn't be that difficult...even in this economy.

I actually got approved via Costco/Captial 1 today.....but then when they found out that I hold the title (I have it on a CC where the 0% 6 mos teaser expired & so now it's @ 7.65%....not bad....but still would rather have it on a secured car loan.....+ the rates a bit cheaper anyhow.....6.9% I'm being quoted) everything all of the sudden changed & I got denied. I told'em I be more than happy to & was assuming I needed to sign the title over to them.....but still they wouldn't have any of it....sayin it would be deemed a personal loan & not a used car loan.

UN'F'nreal....but I dont have the time nor the patience to get into all the deets....but here I thot credit was beginning ta loosen up a bit......not for us....a pissant 15K used car loan...& it aint like itza real old beater either...an '03 4Runner 4 wheel drive (Sport Edition) V8 w/only 56K on the odom....tpppphhhfffttt!!!
