Has anyone considered this to be a gold laundering operation to turn artifacts that would be claimed into bullion?

Maybe it could also be used to gold “salt” a site?

There's a rule with scams, follow the money. IMO there’s simply too much opportunity for Wilf to do the wrong thing, again.
