kevetching is of Yiddish origin....I know that there's several Yenta (another Yiddish word) comedian's who've been ta use the word....Rita Rudner for one & even some Goy's too....like Kathy Griffen use the word....lol

Kevetching.....prety much explains my M.O. 'round here...hehe

& speakin of which....wadda Vegas wknd.....tho since this is a "family" board I'll keep it as clean as possible....all I'll say is on Sat night we went to Mix (the night club at the top of Mandalay Bay) for one of the many after show parties for the AVA's....INCREDIBLE VIEWS.....of the Strip too :0

I highly rec'd this particular wknd...end of CES, 2 playoff games on both days & of course the AVA's on Sat night.....we're talkin about buyin some cheap seats ($100) for next yr & actually goin....only prob is....Sun AM kickoff is 10a....u pretty much have to either completely forget about the early game or get your bets in on Sat night.....we weren't that smart so when we woke up @ 8:30 on Sun AM after our night at Mandaylay Bay we were hammered...lol

Had a nice dinner tho at The House of Blues which is also at Mandalay Bay before goin up to the nightclub, Mix for the after party...only a $35 cover & WELL worth it....by 1a that place was hopin....no elbow room at all....& since the ladies were "dressed" in their "work" attire having no elbow room wasn't such a bad thing on this particular evening...about as much clean fun as a married man could ever ask for.

OK....that's about as clean as I should keep it....all I'll add is that it was also a hoot to meet & spend the wknd w/Whitney Reed...a former #1 ranked player in the world from back in the day.....& he still parties like a young whipper snapper.

Gotta signed copy of his auto-bio & the stories (he was known as the party boy of the tour back then) were never ending...unreal how good he was & the fact that if he wasn't drinking before a match he couldn't play good....lol & of course he also plays a mean game of poker too....a backgammon hustler too.
