A thought about branding from me, who is perhaps the world's worst dresser, only because I'm cheap and clothes don't matter to me.

The thought of, "How the heck is Dussault going to sell their high priced clothes/items in a time like this?" entered my mind a few times. A few years ago, sure, but now?

Then I realized something. Dussault is selling an image, selling a BRAND, selling art, selling a lifestyle. They want the Gene Simmons, the Chris Angel, the Snowboard dude Ryan Rausch (whom they have partnerships with). Once they get their first store open (which they have), once they get partnerships started, once they get their brand set, they can always lower their prices if need be, or come out with a blue collar version, etc. But it would prolly be a lot harder to do the reverse.

I did an ebay lookup, of past items which were listed there to see if the common person was intersted in their items. There were a few hoodies and accessories listed there. I also found their items on discount at Overstock.com. I never heard of them a few days ago, but do like their brand flavor and the fact that they have an IN with TODD MCFARLANE and that merchandising group, which is FANTASTIC.

Anywho, just some thoughts..from a non-trendy clothing dude. Good Luck everyone.
