yup... BRDisc was our xmas present. It's AMAZING how much better, on the same TV, BRdisks look. We got the Planet Earth series. It simply comes to life...and we were blown away with the original HD version!!!!

I'm not about to go out and replace my entire DVD collection, but I've bought a select few....IronMan, Car, Wall-e, Transformers, etc...Anything with a lot of digital computer generated stuff that's got full 1080p content in it...It's remarkable.

AND..fwiw....Costco has a 42' LCD tv AND a BluRay player together for under $1000...
