San Diego, CA., April 30, 2002 - Digital Global Network, the company behind the popular MPIO MP3 Players today introduced their new top-of-the-line DCP-100 MP3/WMA CD Player, which allows for storage of over 20 hours (approximately 250 songs) of high quality music on the traditional CD format. The DCP-100 has a large amount of built-in technological features, including 960 seconds of anti-shock circuitry guards, auto resume support for up to 12 CDs and the ability to bookmark favorite tracks for later use.
In addition to its vast amount of technological capabilities, the DCP-100 also has several varying forms of navigation. These include Alpha Navigation, which permits all tracks on a CD to be organized and quickly found; Bookmark Navigation, allowing only specific tracks which have been bookmarked to be played; and Directory Navigation through its 4-line backlit graphical LCD display. By using Microsoft's popular WMA audio technology, Digital Global Network has made it possible to offer CD-quality sound from files one-half the size of MP3s. This allows for storage of up to 300 songs on a single CD, which can then be easily played in the DCP-100 MP3/WMA CD Player.
