"In recent months" is exactly the timeframe we are trying to define.

From August 2008 till now seems to be the period in question. Both of those articles were published in the November timeframe so two or three months for the research and the writing and developing of the story seems a fair assumption.

It is even possible to suggest that "in recent months" could refer to something written in say June or July.

What we need is something tangible that nails down a test result being delivered since August. Do you have anything?

We already have someone who claims that they cannot get anything from the company since then, even after several communication contacts.
