That depends on your outlook on College..as if it was for everyone...what happened to academic scholarships? They are earned for the right reasons..Or heaven forbid..working your azz off to earn it.

I tried to do just that and realized I couldn't work full time and go to school so I dropped out and went to Trade school..It worked out for me..I have no complaints in the way my career path went..To me College is not for everyone..even if they are gifted athletically..

I am not trying to belittle your niece...it is the system and hopefully she will benefit from it...not all athletes do and it is a waste of time for many..IMO
