Should I buy stock in this company?

No one can make that decision for you. You can only look at the facts. Never mind that the owners have been through personal bankruptcies, lawsuits and investigations by the SEC. If you think you can trust the word of people like Jim Vowler, Garland Harris, Ron Watson, Clay Morrow, etc. then you can decide for yourself. If you are comfortable with a company that has never done any sort of financial statement or has an accounting of millions of dollars of private investment, then decide if you want to invest your money in this company. If you don't have a problem with companies that don't pay their employees or payroll taxes for that matter, it shouldn't influence your decision to invest. If you don't want to listen to former franchisees who feel they have been misled and defrauded of their money, then you can feel confident in making your own decision. If you call the stores listed on the Unique Pizza website and discover that most of them don't exist, then you can make your decision. If you choose to research the legal records and discover several dozen lawsuits against the Vowlers, you can still make a decision based on your feeling that "these are nice guys". So, at the end of the day, as PA Portman suggests, do your own due diligence and make a decision of what to do with your hard earned money.
All IMO of course.
