I was particularly wondering about the fancy new loader they bought and asking if they would be snagging another one.
No was his answer and here's why. They have adopted a new method in the production line. Essentially the trucks simply dump there tires onto a platform instead of labour intensive destuffing. The platform which gravity feeds the shredder hoppers is way more productive. How efficient is this? Michel told me it negates 2-3 employees putting them in by loader how's them apples...
Oh and the loader which has four wheel steering is still being utilized with great success so if you ask me they are getting the kinks out big time. Thought you'd like to know.
Future plans call for a moving floor thereby bypassing more handling delays and employee expenses. It's still 20 below there so the automated floor will need to wait for warmer weather to complete installation. Yep they are sorting out the wrinkles alright Magog will be running like a top soon pretty cool eh?
