Chesapeake Corporation was founded in 1918 and is based in Richmond, Virginia. On December 29, 2008, Chesapeake Corporation filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
