One of the encouraging bits of news has been the three-time assertion from management this spring that they expect FLCR to show profits in the second half of 2004. The ENC and MyClubCard programs are progressing nicely and have the potential for a significant revenue stream--while also providing the company a large potential customer base for their other products.
Regarding your question about a 3M share short position, my best guess would be "unlikely." Even though the float is small (and growing smaller), there has been some selling going on--many who bought in at the .08-.09 level sold off when the sp reached the teens. Plus, the volume has been very low of late.
Locus (and perhaps others) specializes in T/A and follows this stock closely--he would be able to provide a more definitive answer to that question.
Is there anything that would make you think there is a 3M short position?
