DG,
You are probably right about other companies selling AncestrybyDNA, however, DNAPrint IS giving the impression of no longer being in the business of personal genomics.

Since DNAPrint acquired TraceGenetics (I believe), the turn-around time for results is abysmal. My business with TraceGenetics was great, but when I ordered EuroDNA2.0, well, lets just say I've been trying to get the results for more than 9 months, and keep getting the run-around about when I will get other products I ordered (AncestrybyDNA bound copy and HSVII results).

My last response received (Oct 08), a follow-up of a 8/08 inquiry:

1. Ancestry Mito HVSII
Still looking at Sept./Oct. for results generation. (8/08)
Analysis has commenced; should be coming your way before Thanksgiving (10/08) (FYI It is now 1/09)

2. EuroDNA 2.0
Will forward e-mail which was also sent in July. (8/08)
Still delayed; maybe commence end of November (10/08)

3. Bound copy of Ancestry by DNA 2.5
Ordered today; should be in mail next week (8/08)
mailed on 10/20/2008. (10/08) (FYI not received still - 1/09)

I know that my experience may not be representative, but I can understand how people might come to the conclusion that DNAPrint is out-of-business as far as personal genomics goes.
