When wars keep happening and one party keeps ending up with more and more territory it seems silly to take their word that the other guy is at fault... especially when that party has expansion as both a pattern of past behavior and an avowed goal.

I didn't get the impression from the Wikipedia article that Israel was the 'good' guy and there's no way that I was defending them. I'm disgusted right now watching how CNN is subtly and unfortunately, effectively (and dishonestly) making a case for Israel's current destruction of the Palestinians. Rick Sanchez did a good job yesterday in presenting both sides, but now, with I-don't-know-who-she-is geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. With commentary like I was watching a short while ago, I see why the Israeli-Palestinian will continue on. We protect the bully. I shouldn't say this but I can see why Ahmadinejad would say some of the things he says.
