The Go-to-Market Year That Wasn't
T’was a year ago when we first heard them say,
We have the product, dear shareholders. Don’t go away.
To market we’ll go by the end of 08,
Greatly relieved, we thought that was great.
There are autos, and batteries, and comsumer products too,
Which one will be first, or will there be two.
As the quarters ticked by, and the deals they were late.
We sat there befuddled and pondered our fate.
Four bucks sure looked great a few years ago,
Shall I sell? Shall I stay? Gosh, I don’t know!
I’ll call and complain about the stock’s long skid,
But a voice from the past said, There’s always the bid!
Fret not, shareholders, for now is the time,
It was Bill, Tom and Doug, a trio sublime?
Good fortune awaits as you’ll soon find,
The go-to-market year is now 2009!
