Interactive Brokers question

I have a question regarding using your robotrader with my Interactive Brokers account:

Am I obligated to have the IB Trader Workstation loaded up on my PC to be able to use your robotrader service via my IB account?

I use Equityfeed and don't raeally care for the IB platform (other than for my brokerage account). Having their platform loaded (which I dont use) hinders my PC performance.
