stock cetificate in your name. with TDA I am a "beneficial shareholder" not a "shareholder of record" (certificate holder)TDA is the "shareholder of record".

I would have to request certificates to get the cash buyout and I don't think there is enough time.

if your broker gets you certs in your name it will work. not many of these online brokers do that. a full service broker would.

not much info on it so not sure how it will go, but when they say the TA will notify you on how to turn in your certs. tells me I need certs in my name
