snoot you said...in a rural area, the workers can be difficult to find to do "out of the ordinary" work. Ha...and having met all the workers on my house I can tell you that...in a rural area *some* of the workers are out of the ordinary...after 7 yrs. its still like Green Acres...just last week someone said to me...your not from around here are you...I did supply beer- thirty at knock off time which I bet put my sq. ft. cost up another 5.00 bucks. Also I have 2 *working dormers* up stairs which I know were a pain in the butt. My front roof is like a 4-12 pitch I think. It was my first rodeo at having one built and probably last. I never even questioned the builders price. Anyway we are happy with the home and thats what counts I guess. Thanks for your input too...hd
