In 2000 a majority of Californians voted to define marriage as a commitment between a man and a woman. Later the California Supreme Court struck down the ballot measure as contrary to the State Constitution. In 2008 a majority of Californians voted to add the definition of a marriage to the State Constitution - this addition to the constitution defined a marriage as being between an man and a woman.

Now a group of radical gays are turning the election results into an excuse to attack those who had as much right to favor the proposition as those who opposed the proposition. They have approached the state attorney general and convinced him to seek a state supreme court decision overriding the wish of the majority of voters.

In addition they have initiated vicious public attacks against supporters of the proposition under the guise of equal rights and refer to anyone voting in favor of the proposition as hate mongers. The truth is that any Christian who truly accepts that the Bible defines gay sex as a sin and cannot condone defining a gay relationship as a marriage but will still love the sinner and reach out to him in Christian love just as God has reached out to all of mankind through His son Jesus Christ in the ultimate act of love. This is not hate but the behavior of the gay community is tantamount to a childish tantrum
