Also, Dick Cheney was channeling Nixon on Fox news today, noting that if a president undertakes an action during wartime then it is generally legal. He stated such actions would be in defense of the constitution. I guess the irony of allowing a president to wield executive power practically unchecked in defense of the constitution was lost upon the vice president.
