When we hit a 'Wings game, we stay at the Holiday Inn Express downtown - it's clean, safe, reasonable and you get a complimentary crappy breakfast. Seriously, I was amazed how nice the area was the last time we went, quite an improvement over years past. The hotel is also just a short walk away from a People Mover station, which will take you all over downtown.
