camalion.. thank you and I have some questions..

I have not been browsing the new site today, so my questions are:

Does your post mean that operational issues with the site have been "fixed" and management is satisfied that the system will substantially serve new customer traffic spawned by the increased advertising?

More importantly, concerning the parts of the system that site visitors cannot see i.e. the backend.. How well is the backend processing working from a business process sense? i.e. Are orders that are being placed being successfully transmitted to and processed by the Ingram Ent. distribution sites? Is the data flowing as expected by the new site developers?

I know that there is a free trial period, but has the credit card processing begun it's verification testing and will this functionality be coming online soon?

One more... What is the status of the automatic e-mail notification and confirmation subsystem? This is an important piece of the service that spawns confidence to users.

Comment- camalion, while browsing the site after it's release, I experienced several anomalies -nice word for bugs :) - and I documented them with each step I took on the system to generate them. I received the following response from the mail handling subsystem:

"Deferred: Connection refused by smtp.gameznflix.com.
Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours
Will keep trying until message is 5 days old"

I am still unsure if those e-mails have been received and the documented bugs in them are fairly noticeable to the user. One bug specifically, generates a full screen of error messages and is very ugly. Outside it appearance, it probably has no affect on the underlying system, but it would possibly chase away a user that stumbles across it. I think the fix for it should be simple and the system developers would like tho see this one disappear before it is widely noticed.

TIA for any answers you can provide me.
