The article clearly labels this a memory flaw. Not a chipset or processor issue. Not good for HP and unfortunate that it had to be intel chipsets but really the memory manufacturers are the ones that are being blamed by HP. But HP is handling this right. Probably get overlooked with the grantsdale thing...

" The computer giant[HP] said Friday that through tests, it discovered a circuit design flaw in some notebook memory modules that could cause Windows operating system "blue screens," intermittent lockups or memory corruption."
