FanClubBoy, I don't disagree with you, and I am only stating what I have read or heard. On CNBC, they clarified the initial reporting on this story by stating that an appeal had already been filed and that the attorneys felt the case against their client (Fiero) was weak. Of course, that is not a surprising position for the defense attorney to voice. They may be hoping to reach a more agreeable settlement in the interm, hoping that the opposition will not want to continue the case further.
