I am sure Brad's comments were intended to be comforting in face of opposing input from every corner, including the recent SEC filing. Did he know the SEC had essentially told them they cannot pursue the 2nd $1MM they had been pursuing before he wrote that comment, or after. It seems more plausible that he wrote it beforehand, as I can't imagine he's quite so confident now, after the SEC appears to have ruled against NVI's favor..... The recent SEC filing seems to indicate that NVI is in a dire position of having to raise $400,000 immediately, and another $3-4MM to commercialize the technology we all thought they had and they claim to have.
I no longer give Brad or NVI the benefit of the doubt (as if that wasn't obvious), as I don't see ANY evidence they actually have the technology they claim to have in a state that can soon be commercialized, even if they had the money they say they need to bring it to market.
Words are words. Brad's words seem to contradict statements made in the recent SEC filing. My interpretation is his comments that you refer to may have come out before NVI received word from the SEC about their registration statement.
As always, I could be way off base, but that is my interpretation.
