I'm still running a 400 mhz G4 Ti Powerbook with Jaguar and it still does everything I need it to do.

With a new Mac OS over One Hundred dollars a pop a year I don't blame you for hanging back. Early adopters of Panther where treated to a nasty firewire bug so now that the kinks are pretty much ironed out moving to Panther is a good move. Your dead on about Merrill they have very little credibility with me. If the hype does drive the price further I'll take a small profit. I do believe that a new Mac is in the pipeline but what it will be and when is anybody's guess. In the meantime, the iPod and iTune's music stuff and the recent G5 XServe raids should drive this stock up a little further.
