Myst -- Need some basic Optimize instructions

1} When I change a number in the the trading set-up, do I use "enter" or "x-play" -- the end date changes when I do either method even though "keep today as end date is checked".

2) Although I have the minimum 12+ trading days set, I get the message: "you must use a time period greather than 11 days".
