Abbey was Goldman's grand maven of market manipulation. We haven't heard from her (or Henry Bloget) since the Nasdaq bubble burst -- which, of course, we survived, so we will certainly survive the current economic turmoil with just a little pain for a while... I am actually more "bullish" on the markets now than I was back then. I was NEVER bullish on real estate with interest rates at record lows.
