22:37 US Auto Bail-Out May Not Be Finalized Until Wednesday - CNBC Sydney, December 10: CNBC is reporting that despite efforts by White House and Democratic negotiators to clinch a deal Tuesday (US time), as deal is unlikely to be finalized until at least Wednesday. Sources close to the negotiations say that progress is being made, but there still a number of issues that needed to be ironed out. US Senate Republicans were not happy with some of the aspects of the plan with Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, complaining that the initial Democrat proposal presented to the White House on Monday "is deeply flawed."
