Can't imagine there are any shares to short. Most brokers don't allow shorts on stocks like this. The MM's are in this to make money. They read the news, just like you and me. They are not shorting, imo. Market makers, for the most part, make their money on the tiny spreads that we see today. If you see a big spread, the market makers found a dummy and are capitalizing on it.
