I don't know and I haven't heard that discussed. I will check. To set up an efficient system to harvest prior to production might be an issue, but if the cost/profit analysis says its much better to do it....why not?? I do know that one of the only red beryl (google..very impressive stones) mines in the world is very close by....like 30 miles!! Utah, for that matter, is flush with all kinds of "stuff".
