Re:<"New opportunities are showing up especially with the fact that Magnum now has revolutionary patents.">

Those 'revolutionary' patents would certainly be interesting to see and I contacted the company to see if they could point me to them. The response I got back I can only describe as pissy and juvenile regarding my postings on the message board. Nothing about the company impresses me so far and that certainly didn't either. I sent another e-mail back to see if they had any specific factual problem with what I posted but didn't receive a response the second time.

If someone else wants to ask them about the patents, please do so. Seeing those patents can only help posters here make a better decision.

For the person who wrote me from the company, why don't you just talk here? Usually on message boards, the person(s) who keeps gushing about the company to the point where he or she seems almost brain-dead is the person who is the plant.

Here's the e-mail exchange. For those here who cheer because the company "put me in my place," you should also spend some time thinking about the company's response. I'm not the one who will be taking your money.

Hi,

Can you tell me the patent numbers of Magnum's patents as mentioned on the latest press release?

Thank you.

Dear Magnum,

If I said anything at all which was untrue, I would be more than happy to recant that on the message board. Please advise me specifically which statements I made where untrue--with anything to back up what you say.

My position is that I'm specifically looking for real facts about the company. I see a number of big red flags associated with your press releases, with the past associations with the company and with the lack of anything which can be easily interpreted as value provided by the company. I want to know if they're warranted. I also see on the message board that some people are even under the impression that the company is pulling in revenues through tire shredding operations right now? Is that true?

If your motives are honest, your time would be very well spent giving shareholders a true picture of the status of the company. I'm also certainly not immune to changing my assessment when confronted with real facts.

So again, is there anything which I said on the message board which was untrue?--or am I merely painting a picture which goes against the picture you're trying to paint for shareholders in an attempt to artificially prop up the share price?

Thank you.

By the way, in my experience most companies with nothing to hide wouldn't have any problem communicating clearly and honestly with anyone, regardless of their skepticism--I.e. I would have expected to hear the patent numbers in response to my inquiry, not "advice not to communicate." That's ludicrous. What do you have to lose by communicating with me openly and honestly in good faith?
