Optimism vs. Pessimism.......

OK, I admit it, I'm grabbing at optimistic straws here but since I'm invested, feel its my moral obligation to be blinded by the light! I also have the uncanny ability to deduce "anything but" from what a person should actually percieve when they read between the lines!! I've found that over the years, the combination of these personal traits have kept me employed, due my lack of any successful investing and need to continually replenish an all but flattering retirement account!!! Anyway Big Guy, I'm doing my best to give the board some balance and counter your overly pessimistic views! Though, when push comes to shove, we are talking the stock market here and from what I've roughly come up with, pessimist accounts have consistently outperformed optimist accounts by a ratio of approximately 87 to 13, 94% of homeless people over the age of 65 "were" optimists, and pessimists have a higher mortality rate of, give or take, 17 years!!!! Is it too much to ask that you share some of the relentless abuse you recieve here with me? I mean, that is, if you're not "French" Canadian!!!!! (Meant to be all in good fun!)
