Rather than provide you the results of my prior searching, I went to the Yahoo stock screener and ran a new screen with the following criteria:

Forward PE <= 2
EPS (mrq) >= .01
PEG Ratio <= 1
Cash per Share >= 1
Current Price <= 10

Results pop up... but, as with any screen, they will be something less than a useful and fully accurate answer. The criteria I selected were somewhat arbitrary, you could choose others to guide you to similar results along different paths.

Use different screners, get different results...

Mine wouldn't screen out companies with massive debt... still have to look for that, and the results still, even with looking at the Yahoo company pages for Key Statistics, etc., are only a guide... the numbers reported and used in the screening or on the Yahoo pages might be outdated... and might not be correct in what the future will be like... forward PE could be wrong, etc.

A screen gives you a place to look and begin more DD...

The first stock that popped up on this list is SLT. Run it yourself to see the others.

SLT is an Indian company, vertically integrated as a copper company, mining, smelting and refining copper, producing and selling copper end products. They operate in India and Australia.

At $4.67 per share, they have $1.19 in earnings, which you can expect to come down, and Total Cash of 3.43B, or Cash Per Share of $4.838, vs. Total Debt of 364.93M

THAT looks to me like a FREE company... which still doesn't mean the price won't go lower ? The chart looks OK... but you could have bought it for $3.12 on Oct 24th.

Usually, in a good market, there has to be a reason before you will see a stock trading at those kinds of discounts... so passing a screen and surviving a cursory glance doesn't tell you to jump on it. Do the DD to find out IF there is a reason it trades at those prices... Maybe India is going to nationalize copper mining ? Maybe it is a bargain just waiting to make you rich ?
