One thing that I think is coming is buyouts. I'm already seeing a lot of insider purchases on very undervalued stocks as well as stock repurchase plans. I believe I've seen a few buyout offers but I can't remember specifics now. If individual investors stay away from small companies for an extended time, certainly the larger companies that have capital will start acquiring.
