It's not ore there at Wickenburg. It's placer. Big difference. The gold is scattered and somewhat sorted throughout an alluvial depositional environment. You scoop up the sediments and sort the gold out of it.
In turn, assays are somewhat non-event since gold placement is not consistent throughout the claim. It's alot easier and cheaper to mine though.
