hmmmmm, if they are paying for insurance, I would suspect the need for $1k or 2k is not an issue....Chances are they have other things planned in case something happens...

This is just my opinion though, but if they have insurance for funerals, they have other insurance for "life"....And thats usually $50-$250k.....No need to skimp on the funeral....
