rupert - I have to admit, it concerns me that not only did they not mention speed, but they also noted that 130nm could carry their performance chip through the end of the year. Of course, we shouldn't necessarily expect 90nm to kick 130nm's tail speed-wise right out of the gate, but I would hope it can do so before the end of the year. In the meantime, it sounds like it may provide a hefty weapon for the mobile segment. Considering that's where they're weakest now, it may well be that's what they've tuned their "recipe" for right now; it may not mean a thing about 90nm's speed potential. Unfortunately, their clarification probably only will fuel more speculation. Profits will mitigate any consequences of that speculation, though.
