I'll admit I stay away from the political boards, mainly because every time I read them, I despair for Democracy in America. Makes you think that Plato was correct in saying that an enlightened despot was the way to go. Now if only I could find an enlightened despot who knew that I was 100% correct... LOL

But to put it simply, If you don't like the passion and anger and yes, insults that will result on ANY political board, then stay away. If you want a calm reasoned debate, join a local club, there's no guarantee that it will be polite, but fewer people are inclined to insult you to your face in public.
