1st was my 30th birthday present...well, actually, husband "contributed" on his birthday, found out about her on mine, and gave birth on our 4th wedding anniversary...her due date as well. How's that for coincidence?

Second one was up for much discussion because I said I wanted to have any children before 35. A sinus infection, antibiotics, and about 10 months later, the little man arrived. Granted, we knew antibiotics could aid in the "production", so we decided that the medication, and the good Lord above, would decide the discussion. Best surprise of my life.

My husband is younger though, so we couldn't start too early...and I am very grateful we had 4 years together before bringing the wee ones into the mix.

Ours do NOT sleep with us. They can crawl into bed in the morning or for a bit at night, but we will get in the bed with them before they get in with us. It works well.
