There's a big stink going on over at SI re: substantial 90nm FX delays. Seems to me if you look at the latest 2 AMD road maps, it's at worst a 3 month or so delay, and it occurs to me that AMD really has no reason to rush out the FX57(90nm) - it's not like the current FX has any real competition - so what's the hurry?
They can make a lot more money (due to higher volume) on higher clocked Opterons than on the FXs anyhow. Seems to me to be much ado about nothing.
