Yep, I know how they do.

I heard one of them chattering up a constant storm one day...she was so persistent I finally went outside to see what was going on. Lo and behold there was a baby on the ground that apparently had fallen from its nest. Don't know why momma didn't come down and get it.

I watched for awhile but nothing happened so I finally placed the baby in the crook of the tree, went back in the house and soon momma appears, picks it up with her mouth by the neck...like mama cats do, and scurries up the tree!

Made me feel like a million dollars to know the baby was safe. LOL
