Citigroup may be the ultimate conundrum that brings down the banking system. It is to big to fail and yet to burdened to be saved by virtually any consortium of financial institutions. Marty Weiss has lowered his target on the Dow from 7200 to 5500. If that happens the whole system will implode IMHO. Back to the gold standard with one global currency? Who knows when nothing this monstrous has ever reared it's ugly head on a global scale?
