I think u r missing the authors point.

I think the assumption was to NOT try & get a job workin for "The Man"

I was reading that piece in more of an entreprenurial spirit tone...at least this is what I think Altucher's muse was for writing the piece.

Of course if you desrie to go out be a suit, by all means u will need that education....but if you fully subscribe (& I'm not sayin I do 100%) the authors point of view, I think it's safe ta say that the idea was to either find something you love doin that doesn't require the degree...like be your own boss for example.

I just think that as the cost of education continues ta sprial out of sight...it's forcing more & more folks to think outside the box as they are forced to forego the pricey degree.

Bottom line, wouldn't you rather start your career & be out of debt?
